Just wondering what the best screen recorder is for Kubuntu?
I have been looking through them in Muon Software Centre but the reviews are practically all 50/50.
I installed Kazam Screencaster and had a go at recording in full screen (1920x1080) but when viewing the recording in OpenShot it looks rather pixelated. Is there any way (other than changing screen resolution) I can improve the resolution?
There are review for RecordMyDesktop too but I’d like to know more about it before I go and try another one.
Try Vokoscreen … it’s by far the best (GUI) Linux screencaster I’ve tried.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vokoscreen-dev/vokoscreen
then
sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get install vokoscreen

I have gone through all the commands to install vokoscreen but I can’t find it anywhere!!!
How do I find it?
I don’t think it actually installed the first time so I cleaned up my install and tried again but it seems its stuck at
