Unix Application Administrator
Due to continued organic growth my FTSE 250 client are looking to expand their information systems team by adding a Unix Application Administrator with a real focus on supporting the Solaris based, business critical internal applications.
On a day to day basis the Unix Application Administrator will be expected too:
Administer internal applications based on a Solaris stack
Administer various LAMP application development environments
manage permissions, access and company policies
monitor system performance and applications
Develop scripts and applications as required
Provide internal training to various stakeholders as needed
As a Unix Application Administrator applying for this role you will have:
Experience managing and maintaining a Solaris focused infrastructure
Hands on ability to support various bespoke applications
Ability to understand/script in PHP, Python or JavaScript comfortably
Overall experience supporting enterprise level infrastructure
