I’m currently recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading business communications providers for a Unix Platforms Engineer. (I know this is predominantly a Linux forum and should be back with more Linux roles in the future but there may be some UNIX guys here)
Essentially, as a team member of the Core Engineering Platforms team, you will be responsible for the administration, proactive maintenance and management of all components forming the VCHS Hosting Platform.
Ideally you will hold a degree level qualification, be a qualified Cisco/RedHat professional, hold a professional level qualification in a programming language and be have prior experience of Arcsight.
You should have at least 3 years background in UNIX administration, a strong understanding of complex networks, programming and scripting experience and a strong understanding of SNMP.
