I’ve just set up a VM running windows XP, my laptop is running Ubuntu 11.04 i’m trying to get my webcam to work and have a scooby how to go about it =) any help would be appreciated, i found [ubuntu] HOWTO: Logitech Webcam in VMware Workstation (Ubuntu 9.04 Host, Windows XP Guest) this, but to be honest not much of it makes sense, new to using Ubuntu

Any help would be great =)

I take it you’ve loaded the XP drivers for your webcam ?

erm … =D nope, how do i find them on HP site or on microsoft ? im useless!!!

When you start Virtualbox and XP is running … look at the bar at the bottom of the window that contains XP … right-click on the USB icon and tell me what is listed… If the webcam is listed, what happens when you select it ?
