Nope … no .conkyForecast-UKXX0040.cache file.
Keep starting and stopping it … eventually one will get created … see above for how.
You WILL keep getting an error till tat file is recreated.
What if it’s not, wouldn’t it be easier to reinstall it? Just an idea to save time…

Well, I , that was until I just rebooted and it was all back.
Something has happened for the good as when I reboot, you get the report on screen of all the processes stopping and other, well, that used to be all crooked, until I just did a reboot and it was all straightened up, if you know what I mean.
That thing you told me to do a couple of times, I think I did it about 3 - 4 times.

Looks like it’s miraculously reappeared.
AND… Transmission is not blanking out for ages as it was before???
Is there any system diagnostics program I could run to find out anything?
So where do you stand now … is Transmission the only problem ?

Is it possible to install Conky on my 12.04 as per the instructions above , when I had 11.10 installed.Or is it going to be different?
I wont be attempting it right now but sometime this week.
